How do I put domains into a group?
There are several different ways to edit the grouping settings for domains. If you want to edit an individual domain name or would like to use a search tool to locate the domains you want to modify, you can use the tools in the "Traffic Control" page of your account. If you already have a list of domains you want to modify, you can enter them straight into the "Bulk Tool" for processing.
First you will need to create a group in the grouping admin (for more information please click here). Once you have created a group, follow the instructions below to add domain names to groups:
Traffic Control Filters (Multiple Domains)
- Go to the "Traffic Control" page, within the "Portfolio" area of your account.
- Using the filters in the search tool, locate the list of domains you want to group.
- Click the "Modify ALL these Domains" button.
- Select the "Group" check box.
- From the drop down menu select a group.
- Click the "Update" button to confirm your selection.
Traffic Control Options (Individual Domains)
- Go to the "Traffic Control" page, within the "Portfolio" area of your account.
- Select a particular domain, using the filters in the search tool if necessary.
- Click on the "Edit" button corresponding to the individual domain name and a pop-up window will launch.
- From the "Group" drop down menu select a group.
- Click the "Update" button to confirm your selection.
Bulk Tool (List of Domains)
- Go to the "Bulk Tool" page, within the "Portfolio" area of your account.
- Enter the domains you wish to modify into the text box labeled "Domain list", one domain per line.
- click the "Continue" button.
- Select the "Group" check box.
- From the drop down menu select a group.
- Click the "Update" button to confirm your selection.
