How do I modify a contact for my domain name?

The contact system in Fabulous uses Contact Profiles to allow you to quickly and easily modify your contact information across your domain names.  To assign contact information to a domain name, you must:

• Enter the contact information by either modifying an existing Contact Profile or by adding a new Contact Profile
• Validate the contact information (via e-mail or phone call)
• Specify the contact profile to the appropriate contact.

Enter the contact information

1. Log in to your Fabulous Dashboard
2. Hover over “Manage” in the navigation bar
3. Click “Contacts” in the drop down menu. 
4. To edit an existing contact, click the contact name, edit the information and click the "Save" button. To delete an existing contact, select the trash icon under options and when prompted, click the "confirm" button to delete the contact.
5. To add a new contact, fill out the "Add Contact" field. Enter in the required fields and click the “Save” button.
6. Once you’ve added/saved the contact information, you will be prompted to validate the contact.

Validate the contact information

1. Select your preferred method of validation. 

If you choose email:
Check the e-mail address for an e-mail with your validation code.  The Subject line of the e-mail you will receive is:

"Validate changes to domain contact information”

Enter the validation code in the appropriate field of the Contact Update Validation window and click the “Validate” button.

If you choose telephone:

You will receive an automated phone call shortly with your validation code.
Enter the validation code in the appropriate field of the Contact Update Validation window and click the “Validate” button.

2. Note: If you need to close out of the Contact Update Validation window for whatever reason, you can come back to it by going through the steps in “Enter the contact information” again.

Once the Contact Profile has been updated, you will need to assign a contact for your domain name.

Specify the contact profile to the appropriate contact:

1. Log in to your Fabulous Dashboard
2. Hover over “Manage” in the navigation bar
3. Click “Domains” in the drop-down menu
4. Click the domain name you wish to update
5. Under the "Registrant" header click the "Edit Domain Contacts" Link
6. Select the Contact Profile you wish to assign to the appropriate contacts and click the "Submit" button.
